On the weekend of March 19th, we travelled to the northern California coast - to the Eureka area for my niece Wendy's wedding. Saturday morning we visited the beach - the first time for Levi and 2nd time for Jacob (we went to Myrtle Beach when Jacob was almost 2). It was a bit chilly - but until the wind picked up - it was pretty nice.
When we got to Eureka on Friday afternoon - it was amazingly warm. The warmest I have ever seen it there.
We picked up some shells and sand dollars. It was fun - til my ears started aching from the chill! The ocean freaks me out a bit - with lil boys roaming around. Daddy realized a bit too late that a jacket would have been nice.
